Nissan Cefiro created in 1990 is the first generation of the family and the only make model that use Front Engine Rear Wheel (FR) layout. The suspension also share alot with S13 silvia thus many components are known to be exchangeable on the fly. The suspension configuration for this car is the front part use Macpherson strut and Multilink for the rear suspension. Standard S13 coilover absorber are not recommended for the Cefiro since it will make the car to low although adjustable coilover are OK to be used.
Multitude of engine configuration can be found on this car ranging from SOHC RB20 to DOHC RB25 and naturally aspirated to turbocharged. Swap between any 6 inline Nissan engine is possible , also there's some swap to Toyota 6-inline engine and even V8 engine of multitude of manufacturers.
This lego characteristic with cheap price in used car market make it among the favourite project car that focus on the 6 inline engine and V8 engine (although SR20DET is also popular with these platform if the owner want to retain 2.0L engine configuration)
